Do You Need a Permit Before Paving a Driveway in Metairie?
Yes. The Jefferson Parish Code of Ordinances requires a permit from the director of the department of public works before a driveway abutting your property is removed, curbed or installed, and that permit is granted only to the property owner or the owner's authorized agent.
