Why are there fourteen areas but only thirteen pages?
Because New Orleans does not have an area page built yet and the other thirteen do. Do I need a permit for a driveway?
In Jefferson Parish, yes. The parish code states that no person shall remove, curb or install a driveway abutting his property in the parish without first having obtained a permit from the director of the department of public works. That is Jefferson Parish, and it governs the five Jefferson areas on this page. For the other six parishes we have not read a rule, so we do not state one.
Does the permit rule apply everywhere you work?
No, and a page that said it did would be wrong. A parish ordinance governs its own parish. The Jefferson Parish permit requirement is quoted on the Jefferson area pages and nowhere else, because copying a parish rule across a parish line manufactures a claim nobody checked.
Do you run all six services in every area?
